Pelanchos Mexican Grill: Experience Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Knoxville

Super delicious! Fresh and flavorful. The service was great with a clean restaurant.

I took my family there for dinner for my wife's birthday and the food was good but at the same time it could have been better and keep in mind that my wife chose this restaurant for her birthday and told them it was her birthday and she politely asked if they did anything for birthday's which a guy we didn't see until we were waiting on the check told my wife "No" we do not do anything for birthdays and as I was leaving I asked two people that worked there when things had changed and I was surprised to hear the lady tell me yes she can get a free dessert for her birthday and I would have just bought one but the guy that told her no was very short and to the point with the answer of No he told her so she just wanted to leave. There was no reason for him to speak to my wife that way and the only reason I didn't say something to him was because I didn't want my family and wife to be upset

We had a large party and they were able to get us in within the hour that we called to see if they could fit us. We all enjoyed our food but there were a few things missing and we had to ask a few times for them. (We understand it’s a lot with a big group!) We we’re so bummed that they didn’t have horchata as that’s one of our favorites but overall the food was good. The place is large and has lots of seating both indoor and outdoor. It’s not our favorite Mexican place but it was good.

Pelanchos Mexican Grill is the best Mexican restaurant that I've found anywhere. The food is exceptional, the staff is always friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is festive and inviting. My favorite is the Pelanchos Burrito (beef), and my wife goes for the Chicken Chimichanga, but it is all good. I always make a point of eating here at least once, whenever I am in town. Keep up the great work, guys!

We've been coming here since they opened and have always enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. The arroz con pollo is my gold standard for what the dish should be. The stuffed avocado is also a favorite.

There are a lot of Mexican restaurants... And I am always a little critical of them in my reviews. Pelanchos has a great interior - it is like a little Mexican town. It was a slow evening, so it had a peaceful environment. The service was spot on. The food was good. All in all, it was an above average Mexican restaurant.

My fiance and I ate here for our first time. The atmosphere is amazing . Our server was amazing as well as the food! Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had (and I loveee Mexican food!) also very inexpensive! We will definitely be back!!
